About Angel

Real estate has been a great interest of Angel's for a long time.  She loves everything about it!  So much so, she quit her job of almost 6 yrs, at Microsoft, in July 2011 to do it full time. 

Angela Tranice Ivey, better known as “Angel” is a Real Estate Agent and Branch Manager representing one of the most dynamic real estate brands in the country, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, The Preferred Realty.  Angel prides herself on being an effective leader and coach for her agents out of the City Office by providing them with the resources and tools to guide their real estate careers. 

Angel was born and raised in Manchester, a neighborhood on the northside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  Throughout her childhood, she attended Pittsburgh Public Schools and graduated from Perry Traditional Academy High School.  Angel has an Associate’s degree in Travel and Hospitality Management and later received her Real Estate (Associate) Broker’s License in June of 2017 and her Real Estate Teaching License in June of 2018.  Her past experience and local Pittsburgh knowledge helped springboard her career in the real estate industry.  Now, she devotes her time and passion to help others reach their real estate goals.

In addition to her love for real estate, Angel is extremely involved in advancing diversity and inclusion within the workplace.  Angel was the first black manager within her brokerage and featured in Real Producer Magazine as one of a very small group of African American Managers/Associate Brokers in the Pittsburgh Area.  She also acts as RAMP’s (Realtors Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh) first African American Director for the National Association of Realtors for 2022, is the 2022 Co-Chair of their Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee and serves on RAMP's Minority Scholarship Committee (2021 - present) as well.

In her free time, Angel enjoys spending time with her Mom and children PJ (25), Arin (23) and Alyssa (22), traveling the world, giving back to her community, volunteering, listening to Jazz, Old School R&B and Gospel Music and spending time with those she loves!
